Down By Contact machen Crossover-Rock seit 2004 und hat bereits schon einige Erfolge erzielen können(u. a. erster Platz in den europaweiten Crossover-Charts von BeSonic.com). Die Band ist außerdem noch für die "Rockinitiative Pulheim" aktiv.
